Judy Faye Stevens Adair, age 71, passed away to her heavenly home on May 14, 2020 at her home in Murchison, Texas. She was born on December 22, 1948 in Athens, Texas to Larence and Frances “Pete” Stevens.
Awaiting her arrival as she was ushered into heaven on wings of angels, were her Daddy and Momma, Larence and Frances “Pete” Stevens; sister, Fran “BipBip” Osborn; brothers, Charles Stevens and Dwight Stevens.
Judy was a very loving lady who was loved by all she came in contact with. She was a faithful wife and pastors’ wife for 54 years, serving alongside her husband Terry. She loved him with her whole heart. Judy loved kids and had many “adopted” kids that she called her own. Her pride and joy were her daughter and son and her grand-girls.
She leaves on this earth to carry her legacy, her loving husband, Terry Don Adair; son and daughter-in-law , Kevin and Danielle Adair; daughter and son-in-law, Terri Michelle ( Cissy) and Darrell Easley; the absolute joys of her heart, granddaughters, Chelsea Easley, Nicole Adair, and Tehya Adair; expectant great-grandson, Cash Harris; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Phil Smith; also surviving is a true host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great- nephews, cousins, friends, and children of her heart.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Chris Cade, Matt Cade, Rodney Everitt, David Gurley, Chris Holmes, and Phillip Smith Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be, Dwayne Casey, Travis Everitt, Calvin Morris and Ricky Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Thomas, David Harkins and Matt Sims officiating.
Judy’s life verse: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mathew 11:28-30
