Delia lived a long and interesting 97 years. Always a hard worker, she provided for her family over the years working at Cromwell Products in Cromwell, Indiana, and she was a powder bag sewer at an ammunition plant in Charleston, Indiana. Delia was a caregiver to a friend in Tennessee, she had a kind nature and touched many lives wherever she was, and always put everybody ahead of herself. She was a straight shooter, who would tell you what you needed to hear. Her son’s stated that you could write a book about her. She was a wonderful mother, great cook and loved to cook big meals. She attended New Beginnings Church and World Outreach in Warsaw where she enjoyed fellowship with her church family and she dearly loved the Lord. Delia had a big heart and loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family…she will be dearly missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Carl Tuncil (Warsaw, Indiana); Calvin (Cathy) Tuncil, Jr. (Etna Green, Indiana); daughter: Diana M. Martin (North Vernon, Indiana); twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother: Johny (Vicki) Gumm (Hamilton, Ohio); two sisters: Geraldine Halsey (Fort Wayne, Indiana); and Virginia Baker (Perrysburg, Ohio).
