Bill Ard was one of the first Master Plumbers in Arkansas and owned Bill Ard Plumbing Co. for 45 years. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Sherwood and enjoyed fishing and bingo.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Bettie Ruth Booth Ard.
Survivors include his daughters Patricia Scheland and Billye Rose Shaw and his son David Ard. He will be missed by his 4 grandchildren: Carmen Eva Shaw, Jason William Shaw, Jonathan Scheland and Angelia Scheland and his 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on January 3, 2017 at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Burial will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Smith - Sherwood Funeral Home, 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas
