Mrs. Mary Glenn Farist Chadwick, age 96, of Ellijay died, Tuesday May 12, 2020.
Mrs. Chadwick was born April 19, 1924, in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Tandy Creston and Ida Mae Pritchett Farist. She worked in the Textile industry, was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Her parents, husbands, Olin Cantrell, Zed Chadwick and daughter; Christine Cantrell.
Survivors; brother and sister-in- law; Leeman and Josie Farist, Ellijay, sister and brother-in-law; Evelyn and George Garland, Woodstock, special niece and spouse; Pat and Sid Roberts, Cherry Log and several other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at the Scrougetown Church cemetery with Minister Butch Jones officiating. A private family viewing will be held.
