Grant Bachman, 83, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester Carney, at Iberis after a brief illness.
In addition to his daughter he is survived by a foster son, Lester Goodloe, of Washington, D. C.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Wenrich, and a brother, George Bachman, both of Harrisburg, Pa., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Elmore and Haynie Funeral Home by Elder C. L. White. Interment was in the cemetery of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
