Waukesha/Dousman, Wisconsin – Theodore (Ted) Walter Gruling age 81, died July 12, 2017 in Merrill Hills Health Care, Waukesha, WI.. He was born Feb. 06, 1936 on the Gruling farm in Twp. Hamburg, Marathon Co. Wisconsin, to the late Theodore E. and Dora (Guetzke) Gruling. He attended school in Cedarburg, and Eagle, WI. Ted married Florence Ann Schultz July 11, 1959 in Waukesha, WI. He worked 42 years and retired from the Waukesha Foundry.
He is survived by his wife Florence, and a son Joseph (Julie) Gruling of Milwaukee, WI. and two sisters; Mary Ann Marquardt and June Carroll both of East Troy, four brothers; Alfred Gruling, of East Troy, Delmar Gruling, West Bend, WI, Franklin (Diane) Gruling, Palmyra, and Frederick (Marilyn) Gruling, Jefferson, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Theodore was preceded in death by two sons; Richard Gruling in 2007, and William Gruling in 2012, his parents and a brother Roger Gruling.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 3:00 PM until time of the Service at 6:00 PM, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (4 blocks south of I-94, on the corner of Hwys J and JJ).
Gather Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Ottawa Cemetery for burial service.
