Marie D. Forrest, 92, of Bellflower died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 3, 2005) at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City.
She was born May 2, 1913 in West Township, McLean County, a daughter of Cornelius and Lectie Sumner Doss. She married Loren F. "Buck" Forrest on May 21, 1939 in Nashville, Indiana. He died July 10, 1993.
Survivors include a son, Roger Forrest; a daughter, Karla K. Ruch; two sisters, Irene Cain and Della Heck and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Mrs. Forrest was a member of Bellflower United Methodist Church; former member of Needlecraft Club, Bellflower; former McLean County 4-H leader in Bellflower; former member of Bellflower Home Extension; charter member of the Bellflower Historical and Genealogical Society; and a former member of Bellflower Senior Citizens, where she served as treasurer.
