Barney Leon Gaddis
Barney Leon Gaddis, 74, of Magnolia Road, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Baldwin Hinds Chapel Southwest with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hautense Gaddis; two sons, Donald L Gaddis and Warren Dale Gaddis; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Curtis, all of Jackson; a brother, Rooker Gaddis of Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Annie King of Mt. Olive, Mrs. Nonnie Bryant of Mize, and Mrs. Lyle (Nema) Corey of Meridian; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A native of Raleigh, Mr. Gaddis had lived in Jackson for 40 years and was in the furniture and insurance business. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and had been a Sunday school teacher for 50 years.
