Lucille Dent Tremblay, 88, a lifelong resident of Stafford County, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born April 12, 1919, to the late Richard G. and Susan Dent of Stafford.
Lucille was a graduate of Stafford High School. She was a longtime survivor of two bouts of breast cancer and worked for a time collecting money for cancer research. She worked at the Medical Arts Building for the late Dr. Tunstall for a number of years.
She leaves behind her husband, Gifford H. Tremblay; a son, Gifford Wayne Tremblay; three grandchildren, Derek Wayne Tremblay, Darrell Scott Tremblay and Angela Faye Clayberg, all of Stafford; a sister, Anne Jones of Fredericksburg; and six great-grandchildren, Michael Wayne Tremblay, Jessica Lynn Tremblay, Daniel Alan Clayberg, Braden Kirk Clayberg, Brandon Scott Tremblay and Sydney Lea Tremblay, all of the Fredericksburg area.
Lucille requested cremation. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Stafford Rescue Squad, Box 414, Stafford, Va. 22554.
