John (Buddy) Franklin Tucker, 73, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2015. He was born on March 15, 1941 in Berrien County, Georgia. He spent many years crafting rustic furniture and working as a construction foreman. During his free time he could be found outside growing roses and maintaining his vegetable gardens. He was an avid collector of platters, frogs and chickens. He had a love for his family and friends that was incomparable. He welcomed all with open arms into his home, where you were sure to find nothing short of an amazing meal and good music to warm your soul. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and took pride in all that he did. He will be missed every day and never forgotten.
He is survived by: his life partner Dan Mills; children, DeAnna Adams, Jayson Tucker, Bronwym Mills, David Mills and Frankie Stevens; sisters, Delores Larse Shearl, Betty Ann Troup, and Carolyn Ray and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of John's life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, US 301 South at Lake Avenue.
