Services for Mrs. Mark A. Corbin were held in St. Paul's Episcopal Church with burial in the Woodbine cemetery. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Robinson and was born on 30 September 1888 in Bloomington, Illinois. She moved to Artesia in 1939 from Roswell. She was an Episcopalian, a member of the P.E.O., and a registered nurse. She was active in the Nurses Club, a member of Eastern Star, Woman's Club, and the first president of the local Girl Scout organization after it was reorganized. She was a charter member of the Artesia Story League. Survivors are Paul J. Chipman, Robert H. Chipman, sons by a former marriage; one stepson - Andy Corbin; five grandchildren.
