Mrs. Martha M. Hanna died, July 17, 1905, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Sara A. Rowe at Appleton City, Missouri, of apoplexy.
She was born November 22, 1809, in Jacksonville, Ohio, and was the mother of eleven children, Living in New Lancaster, in 1868 they moved with her husband to western Missouri. After her husbands death, she lived sixteen years with her son G. B. Hanna, on his farm in Wea, southeast of Paola, then she went to Appleton City where she died.
Two of her sons were killed in the civil war, one son Robert D. Hanna, was killed in the battle of Chickamauga.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rowe, at Appleton City, and four sons, J. J. Hanna of Eldorado, Kansas, G. B. and H. C. Hanna of Paola, and W. H. Hanna of South Omaha, Nebraska.

Mrs. Martha M. Hanna died, July 17, 1905, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Sara A. Rowe at Appleton City, Missouri, of apoplexy.
