Alda Thomas Sargent Fletcher, age 87, of Hillcrest Drive, Paris, Kentucky, retired Wilson's Drug Store clerk, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at her home. She was born September 9, 1924, in Bethel, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Jessie Frank and Esther Bradley Sargent. She attended Ruddles Mill School and was a member of First Christian Church.

Alda is survived by: a son, Nick Fletcher, of Paris; two daughters, Susan (Dudley) Crouch, of London, and Becky (Kendall) Sebastian, of Paris; four grandchildren, Laura (Jason) Fallis, Michael Fletcher, Katie Sebastian and Tyler Sebastian, all of Paris; and a great-granddaughter, Jenna Rose Fallis, of Paris. She was preceded in death by: a sister, Elizabeth Jefferson; and a brother, Noble Sargent, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Hospice Chaplain David Holder, with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Barry Sargent, Noble S. Sargent, Jr., Danny Reynolds, Robbie Anderson, Joe Lucas and Mark Rambacher. Honorary bearers will be Tyler Sebastian, Michael Fletcher, Dr. Kenneth Brodsky, Christy Pope, the staff of the Bourbon County Senior Citizen Center and members of the Hospice of the Bluegrass Green Team. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
