Annamarie R. Digiglio, 80, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in her residence. She was the wife of the late William J. Digiglio who passed away January 10, 2002. Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Murlo) Eremus. She was employed at many garment factories throughout the area and later employed in the Panther Valley Middle School office until retiring. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Nesquehoning and is currently a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Nesquehoning. Annamarie loved playing Bingo.
Surviving are daughters Kathy O’Gorman and her husband Charles of Nesquehoning, Ann Marie Digiglio of Pittston, PA, and Regina Bretzik of Kunkletown, PA; sons William of Summit Hill and Anthony of Nesquehoning; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sons Michael and Nicholas, sisters Rosemary Sojack and Dorothy Puza, and brothers Jerome, Daniel, and Paul Eremus.
A Private Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Donations will be accepted in her name to the American Heart Association, c/o Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
