Dallas Carl Markham, Jr. of Richardson, Texas passed away on May 3, 2020 at the age of 70. He was born on June 26, 1949 to Dallas Carl and Edith (Burke) Markham in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was raised and attended school in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a subcontractor for several different flooring companies over the years.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Markham; children, Deborah Sharkey and husband, Jerry, Lisa Nelson, Ann Buckalew, and Joseph Rierson and wife, Robin; sisters, Sue Lee and husband, W.D. and Patsy Reese and husband, Douglas; many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Edith Markham; son, Jesse Sisk; and sister, Mary Hilburn.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, the following are cemetery guidelines. All are invited to attend the Graveside Service, by standing at a minimum distance of 20 feet from the tent and 6 feet apart from one another to comply with social distancing directives or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas.

The graveside service will also be video recorded and will be available following the graveside service on Dallas’s obituary page.
