About 50 years ago, she professed a faith in Christ and joined the Prospect church. She lived a consistent Christian life until death.
She was married to Paschal T. Jennings in the year of 1886. To this union five children were born: Elmer, John, Effie, Roscoe and Tilly. Her husband and three of their children preceeded her to that great beyond. She leaves to mourn her loss, her two sons, John of Stanton, Elmer of St. Clair and five step-children: Mrs. Annie Belew and Mrs. Lena Duckworth of St. Clair, Ed of Joplin, Ellis of Luebbering and Harry of Union; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Capehart of St. Clair; one brother, Silas Henson of Lonedell and many other relatives and friends.
Both she and her good Christian husband, were firm believers, that Jesus Christ hath power on earth to save and with this belief, and their good Christian life, they both lived to see all their children converted to a Christian faith. "Blessed are they that die in the Lord."
