He was born Oct. 17, 1946 at Provo, Utah, and moved to Caldwell in 1948 and to Adrian in 1949. He graduated from Adrian union High School in 1964. He attended Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario for two years, graduating in 1966. He was employed as a mechanic in Soda Springs and served in the U.S. Army in Germany. In 1969 he worked in his father's business in Adrian and was employed as a mechanic by Dobbin Implement Co., Marsing at the time of his death. He married Lois Jean Ocamica on June 2, 1971 in Ontario.
Survivors include his widow of Marsing; his parents Mr. And Mrs. Robert W. Callahan of Parma; a brother Phillip Allen Callahan, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. Norma Carol, Parma; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Roy Newman, and Mrs. Hanty Nelson, both of North Platte, Neb.
