Pneumonia claimed two more victims last night at 9:15 and today at noon. One of the victims was Joseph Martin, 79, retired farmer who lived at Whittenburg and who died last night. The other person who died from pneumonia was Mrs. Sarah Clem, 59, resident of Borger for the last eight years, and who was employed by the New York store.

Martin came to this vicinity two years ago from Nowata, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Frank R., J.L., and W.S. Martin of Whittenburg; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Mae Umphfres and Mrs. Minnie Umphfres of Whittenburg and Mrs. Beil Baker of Nowata; one brother, Bud Martin of Coffyville, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Allen of Delaware, Oklahoma and Mrs. Nettie Billips of Coffyville.

Funeral services for Martin were to be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at Carver Funeral Chapel with H.P.Garertt [sic], pastor of the Phillips Baptist church officiating.

After services this afternoon the body will be taken to Panhandle and sent to Nowata for final services and burial tomorrow.

Survivors of Mrs. Clem are her husband; three sons, Charles Davis, Haskell Davis and Arlin Davis of Borger; a brother, Arthur Henson of Wright City, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Maudie Seals of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her mother, Mrs. Margaret Henson of Little Rock.

The body is at Carver Funeral chapel pending funeral arrangements.
