GLADBROOK -- Services for Katherine Staker, 89, of Gladbrook, who died of complications following surgery on Tuesday, June 6, 1989, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center, at Goettsch-Perrin Funeral Home, Gladbrook. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery near Gladbrook.
Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Maas of Gladbrook; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Ladehoff of Gladbrook; and two sisters, Alma Schroeder of Gladbrook and Hilda Buck of Reinbeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1979; a son Donovan in 1988; three brothers; and six sisters.
