Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Clara B. Tidmore, 72, Route 11, Gadsden, who died Sunday, Oct. 28, 1990. The Revs. Waylan Golden, Clarence McKee and L.H. Wade will officiate. Burial in New Bethel Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Tidmore was a native of Etowah County and a lifelong resident of Hokes Bluff. She was a member of New Bethel Methodist Church. Mrs. Tidmore was retired from General Times.
She is survived by her husband, Jake C. Tidmore: sons, Joe A. Tidmore and James K. Tidmore; daughters-in-law, Kathy Tidmore and Barbara Tidmore; grandchildren, Byron, Sharon, Kayanna, Chris R., Chris A. and Kayla Tidmore; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Tidmore; sister, Troy Condray; brother, Louie McCoy; sister-in-law, Ella McCoy and Adel Means; step-grandchildren, Kim Gardner, Mandy and Kenny Bryant; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Byron Tidmore, Steve Tidmore, W.C. McCullars, David McCoy, Chris Tidmore and Doug McCoy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Flemming, Charles Wells, Doug Mullins and all personal friends.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Kat Marbut, all friends and neighbors, Hospice nurses, Sister Paul Marian and the fourth floor nurses and staff of Holy Name of Jesus Hospital. The body will remain at Collier-Butler through the hour of service.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 tonight.
