My Stepfather, Ed, passed away in the hospital three days after suffering an asthma attack. He was a wonderful man, who worked for GM Truck & Bus for about 30 years, before having to retire for health reasons.
He loved his time in the service, and would talk about his experiences.
He had a great send off at his gravesite, with a 10 gun salute from the other veterans that were present.
I didn't know him but for ten years, but in those ten years, he meant the world to me. Can't wait to see you again!
