Regina was a life long resident of Flint and attended Flint Public Schools. She was a Honors graduate of Flint Northwestern High School, "Class of 1985," where she also was a Flint Black Scholar and a recipient of a Genesee Scholarship to Mott Community College. In 1990, "Gina" received her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse and began her career at McLaren Regional Medical Center, where she was employed for the past 20 years. In 2001 and 2002, Regina received the Margaret McLaren Excellence Award in the Best LPN/ER Tech category. She became a member of Teamsters Local 332 in 2003 where she served tirelessly and was currently serving as a dedicated Union Steward. Regina's passions were her family especially her mother, whose side she never left in her 43 years here on earth. She loved to read, spend time on her computer, going places with her friends and watching her favorite teams the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.
