Erma Lucille Bulson, 81 of Olathe, Kan., formerly of Mexico, died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Olathe.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of God Holiness with Rev. Bobby Clouse and Rev. Wayne Skeen Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Erma was born Dec. 23, 1926 in rural Adair County, the daughter of Arthur and Eliza (Bailey) Zeigler. On July 21, 1944 in Macon, Ga., she married Merrill E. Bulson Jr. He died on July 19, 1989.
Mrs. Bulson was a member of Church of God Holiness. She had worked for the Florsheim Shoe Company.
Survivors include three sons, Merrill E. Bulson III and wife, Judy, of Overland Park, Kan., Larry D. Bulson and wife, Sandi, of Mexico and David T. Bulson and wife, Brenda, of New Bloomfield; one daughter, E. Jolene Duckworth of Olathe, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, John S. Bulson; two grandchildren, Chad Duckworth and Larry Bulson Jr.; three brothers, Harold Zeigler, James (Junior) Zeigler and Richard Zeigler; and one sister, Roseanna Benton.
Memorials may be made to the Church of God Holiness.
