He was born March 22, 1920, in Tacony, Colorado. Albert is survived by Sally (Gieck) Wilmot, sons Roger (Nancy) Gieck, Gale (Michelle) Gieck, daughters Connie (Mark) Summers, and Judy (Steve) Brown.
He served in the Army Air Corps stationed in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was 88 years young living on his own. He worked full-time as a glazer until he was 84, only having to leave his profession due to a shoulder injury.
He loved working and playing in Lake Havasu. He enjoyed walking every day, boating and spending time with his family and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 420 North Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs.
