CANTON - Raymond Leroy French, 73, died Saturday at Madison General Hospital in Canton. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Breeland Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Canton Cemetery.

A native of East Vernon, Ind., he had lived in Canton for 20 years and was a retired tool and die maker.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Brabo French of Canton; two sons, Douglas French of Tucson, Ariz., and Thomas Rodgers of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. James Champion of Ridgeland; brothers, Herschel French of Ontario, Ore., Earl French and Wilford French, both of Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Alverta Hurst of Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Vera Hulett of Pacatello, Idaho; and eight grandchildren.
