Pamela “Pam” Jean (Morgan) Kantner, 66, originally of Odessa, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at her home in Cole Camp, MO.

Due to the Covid19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will take place in the Barker Cemetery, in Odessa, MO. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Barker Cemetery Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524.

Pam was born on August 12, 1953 to Lewis Franklin Morgan and Emmett Maxine “Max” (Barker) Lutjen in Lexington, MO. She was a 1971 Odessa High School graduate and had kept in touch and remained active with her classmates. Pam was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Peerson. They later divorced. On November 4, 1982 she was united in marriage to John Henry Kantner. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2005. Pam worked several years as a pharmacy technician before founding the Dawg House located in Odessa, MO in 1994. After selling the business in 2003, Pam worked for Dunbrooke Apparel, retiring in 2017. Pam enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping at the lake, dancing, and working in her “She Shed.” She was a master seamstress.

Survivors include; companion, Jim Halsey of the home; five children, Bruce Peerson and wife Tina of Odessa, MO, Kelly Banes and husband Scott of Bates City, MO, Sandy Duncan and husband Joey of Richmond, MO, Jonna Scarborough and husband Matt of Blue Springs, MO, and Brett Kantner and wife Rayna of Odessa, MO; two step children, Nancy Beals, Terry Kantner and wife Angela all of Forsyth, MT; five brothers, Mike Morgan and wife Paulette of Warsaw, MO, Wayne Morgan and wife Debbie of Camdenton, MO, Joe Morgan of Odessa, MO, Mark Morgan of Sunrise Beach, MO, and Jeff Morgan of Odessa, MO; seventeen grandchildren, Nicholas Peerson and wife Ashley, Gabe Peerson, Trey Braswell, Alyssa Lewis and husband Jordan, Abbie Banes, Trey and Delaney Duncan, Alaina, Alexa, and Clay Scarborough, Braden, Ronan, Rory, Kalie and Colin Kantner, BreeAnn Purkett, and Bryce Beals; and three great grandchildren, Adalynn Peerson, and Berkley and Briella Lewis.

In addition to her husband, John, Pam was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Patrick Morgan in infancy.
