Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of October 20, 2001, Alice Rutledge Siegling, widow of Edward H. Siegling. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Thursday afternoon, October 25, 2001 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, at one o'clock. Interment will be private. Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Thursday afternoon from twelve-noon until time of the service.
Mrs. Siegling was born in Charleston, South Carolina, a daughter of Thomas Pinckney Rutledge and Ethel Parrott Rutledge. She was a retired administration assistant with Young, Clement and Rivers, Attorneys at Law. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his two sons, John M. Siegling and his wife Sandy of Charleston, SC and David R. Siegling and his wife Pat of Seminole, FL; a brother, Hugh M. Rutledge of Newport News, VA; two granddaughters, Camille Siegling Bowdoin and her husband Frank of Charleston, SC and Linda Siegling Kelly and her husband Sean of Jacksonville, Fl; two great-grandsons, Kyle Bowdoin and John Austin Bowdoin.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund, 5 Clifford Street, Charleston, SC, 29401.
