Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today from the Cox-Parker Funeral Home in Winter Park, Florida, for Myron E. "Mike" Abendroth, 48, who died Thursday at his home, 961 Via Lugano, Winter Park, Florida.
A Wisconsin native, he was vice president of the Oakes Manufacturing Company until early in 1953 when he moved to Florida. A Lieutenant Colonel in Army Ordance during World War II, he was a member of the American Legion, the Elks, the Columbia Club of Indianapolis, and a member of the Presbyterian Church at Winter Park. He also belonged to the Orlando (Florida) Country Club. He was a graduate of Purdue University where he was a member of Sigma Chi.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice B. Abendroth, and three daughters, Joan, Jean and Mary Alice Abendroth, all of Winter Park.
