Broadalbin, July 4 - Mrs. Jane Ann Fonda, widow of Charles Fonda aged 70 years, died at her home on Main street at 12 o'clock' Saturday night, after an illness of several months. The deceased was born in the town of Amsterdam, and had resided in this village the past forty years. She is survived by several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. H. Trussell, of the Presbyterian Church, conducting the service. Burial was made in the cemetery at Union Mills.
