Eunice Virginia "Susie" Douglas, 77, of New Kent, died Thursday, November 11, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Harry Douglas; four children, Diane Baldwin, Ruby Ballard Bowes, E. C. "Hank" Ballard, Jr., and Jerry Douglas; eight grandchildren, Tracy Pace, Christine, Carl and Brian Ballard, Ricky and Randy Loving, and Tammy and Crystal Douglas, nine great-grandchildreen; two brothers; Robert C. and Willie Ancarrow; two step daughters; Dorothy Moore and Myrtle Moore; one stepson Billy Douglas; five step grandchildren and one step-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Douglas was retired from Ne Kent Middle School Cafeteria. Remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, where the family will receive family and friends 4 to 9 p.m., Friday and where services will be held 12 noon Saturday. Internment Hopewell Baptist Church, New Kent, where Mrs. Douglas was a member. Published in the Richmond Times Dispatch on November 17, 2000.
