Mrs. Millie Nevins died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emma Wilding, in Jacksonville. Death occurred at 3:10 p.m.
The decedent was the widow of R. A. Nevins, retired farmer of Waverly. They were married in 1906. Her husband died in August 1952.
Mrs. Nevins was born in Macoupin county, December 18, 1879, the daughter of David and Ann Yates Henderson.
Other surviving children besides Mrs. Wilding are Mrs. Julia Edwards and Frank Nevins of Waverly; Mrs. Nellie Thomas, Versailles; an Mrs. Alta Dorsey and Lee Nevins of Jacksonville. There are nine grandchildren.
One sister survives, Mrs. Nancy McFarland of Virden. Two brothers and sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were held at the Neece Funeral Home Monday afternoon with Rev. W. A. Ogden in charge.
