Edna Irene Swallow Sparrow was born Sept. 18, 1896, in Chambers, Ind, the daughter of Arthur and Retta Yates McKee. She married Clarence Swallow. She later married Russell Sparrow on April 12, 1949, in Clinton.
Survivors: one son, Kenneth Swallow; one daughter, Sandra K. Jones; two sisters, Hope Bowman and Vivian Herring; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her second husband May 2, 1977; one daughter, [Bernadine Swallow], one brother and one sister.
