Benjamin was born May 31st, 1988 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from West Central High School, in Stuart, Iowa, where he was voted All American Scholar. Ben graduated with a 2 year college degree in Telecommunications, where he made the Dean's List with straight A’s!

Ben currently worked at Heartland Coop, Carlisle, Iowa, which he really enjoyed. He loved his co-workers and considered them family. Previous jobs included Panora Telecom, Panora Iowa; Hedberg and Sons Roofing, Des Moines, Iowa; and Catalyst in Windsor Heights.

Benjamin modeled what he believed and took an interest in everyone that he met. Material things of this earth were not important to him. Only joy and life. He lived it to the fullest in every way. He could light up any room with his unforgettable smile and personality.

Benjamin was a music lover and loved to play his guitar and drums. He loved track and field which he won many medals in High School. He played other sports including baseball and football. Ben loved life and most of all his family. He attended church regularly and came to know the Lord six years ago at Glad Tidings Church with Pastor Bill. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, kind and caring person, who always had nothing but good things to say about everyone.

Always remembered in our hearts and never forgotten!

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. The family suggests memorials be directed to St Judes Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa or Furry Friends of West Des Moines, Iowa.
