Ophelia Ann Gray was buried outside the Cyrus family plot, but close by, under the tree in the southwest corner of the Abraham Cyrus Cemetery. "Felianna" Gray was the "wet nurse" for Bernard Cyrus, as his mother, Caroline Lockwood Cyrus, died 22 October 1876, when he wasn't even nine months old. Although some family stories say that Felianna Gray was Black, census records for the David Gray family of Boyd County, KY, show she was White. Many of the Gray family are buried in the Lockwood-White graveyard across the Big Sandy River: Cemetery ID 2426678. Several Gray members married into the Van Horn family of Boyd County.
