He graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1962. He retired from Bristol Myers Pharmaceuticals after 34 years of service. Malcolm was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church, St. Philip Men's Club, St. Philip Conservation Club and Old Stone 3. He was a friend of Bill W for 34 years. He was a kind, supportive, loving father and grandfather. He loved his family with all his heart. He was our coach and cheerleader! He was an avid fan of many teams including Atlanta Braves, Chicago Bears and Mater Dei, his passion for Indiana University basketball led the way. Watching IU and Bobby Knight was a household hobby. Malcolm enjoyed doing puzzles and made so many of them into pictures which he displayed in his home. He enjoyed nature and visited many national parks. We have many fond memories of family vacations and weekends spent at the ballparks will always be cherished in our hearts.
Surviving Malcolm are a daughter, Anna (Andy) Fagg of Fishers, IN; three sons, Keith (Rani) Winiger of Carmel IN, and Toby (Anne) Winiger, of Greenwood, IN and Todd (Stefanie) Winiger of Houston, TX; one sister, Linda (Marv) Thomasson of Chattanooga, TN and ten grandchildren, Kayla, Victoria, Vincent, Harrison, Cade, Samuel, Bryce, Valerie, Ricardo and Jack and three great grandchildren, Kaylin, Marlee and Paxton.
In addition to his parents, Malcolm was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Alsop and by three brothers, Robert, Gerald and William Winiger.
Private funeral services for Malcom will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Claude Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Philip Church Cemetery. Published in Courier Press from Apr. 21 to Apr. 23, 2020
