Lena Kuebler was born to Johann George and Katherina (Frank) Kuebler in Louisville, Kentucky. She was baptized at St. Peter's United Church of Christ (Lutheran) 29 November 1857. Lena married I. M. Kuebler in Louisville 12 May 1875 and moved to Cook Co., Illinois shortly thereafter. She and her husband were parents to Henrietta Jacoby, George M., Harry, Rosalie Huecker, and Emeline Godknecht. Her obituary states she was of a pioneer family of Palatine Village. Her husband's mother, Rosalia Kuebler, operated the first hotel in the village.
