Robinette Sr. of Pacolet and the late Marie Byars Robinette; owner Spartan Plating and Grinding of Pacolet and Battery Specialists of Spartanburg; member of Pacolet United Methodist Church; a Mason, member of Trough Shoals Lodge No. 228 of Pacolet; a Shriner, member of Hejaz Temple; member of the board of directors of Palmetto Health Care; World War II army veteran.
Also surviving: daughter, Miss Donna Gayle Robinette of Atlanta; brother, John Zack Robinette of Spartanburg; sister, Mrs. Joan Hanson of Lancaster.
