John E. Archer, 78, of Mooresville, passed away July 27, 2007. He was born August 22, 1928 to the late Albert and Edith (Crowe) Archer in Clayton, IN. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. He worked as a correctional officer at the Indiana Boys School for 30 years retiring in 1992.
John is survived by his wife, Jaclin A. (Stonecipher) Archer; two sons, Richard C. and William A. Archer; two daughters, Julia E. Dunbar, and Rebecca A. Ehrsam; two brothers, Rilus and Buck Archer; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Services were entrusted to Hampton Gentry Funeral Home of Plainfield, Indiana.
