Mary was the daughter of Diona Brown and Ruthie S. Brown. She was educated in the Wilcox County School System and was a graduate of Wilcox County High School in Rochelle, Georgia. She was a member of Mount Air Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia where she served as Mother of the Church. She enjoyed cooking and fishing and taking care of her dog, "Tinker Bell" which was one of the joys of her life.

She was married to Floyd Lee Kendrick. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Sandra Milner, 4 sisters, Burnice Grace, Dorothy Jean Johnson, Clara Jo Brown and Betty Reid and 2 brothers, Willie James Brown and Freddie Milner and 1 great granddaughter, Lakiya.

3 Sons: Tyrone Milner, J. B. Crowder(Tanylon) and Patrick Milner(Mattie).

Graveside services were held Friday, April 24, 2020 at 10:30AM in the Mount Air Baptist Church Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Georgia.
