WINCHESTER--John "J" Jarrett II, 48, of Winchester, passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 at his home. He was born on Sept. 25, 1959, in Winchester, to John A. and Carolyn Sue (Lilly) Jarrett. John was a 1979 graduate of Winchester Community High School. He enjoyed his dogs, sports, and mowing his yard.
John is survived by two sisters, Jackie (Brian) Wilt of Winchester and Lisa (Chris) Allen of Lynn; one niece; three nephews; and by his stepfather, Junior Hummel of Union City, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Mary Jo (Shaw) Hummel; and by his nephew, Kyler Wilt.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Walker Funeral Home is entrusted with his arrangements.
