LESS GOSS: Platteville; 80, died Wednesday [7-2] at Cuba City Medical Center following a long illness. Mr Goss was born in Ellenboro 15 Aug 1888. He was united in marriage to the former Mildred Leighty on 28 May 1914. They farmed in the Ellenboro area until they retired & moved to Platteville in 1945. Goss served as custodian at the Lumber & Fuel Building for 20 yrs until illness forced his retirement. Survivors are his wife Mildred; 2 daus: Mrs Melba Manring & Mrs Clarence Hooks-both Plattville; 1 bro: Frank Goss-Platteville; 2 half-sis: Mrs Harvey Loomis-Boscobel; & Mrs Billy Smith-Fennimore; 1 stepsis: Mrs Wallace Geasland-Platteville; 3 grandchildren; & 5 gr grandchildren. Services were held on Saturday [7-5] in Mergen Funeral Home. Elder Marvin Whitaker, Reorganized LDS officiated. Burial was at Buckwheat Ridge Cem-rural Platteville.
