Mrs. Houston was born at Lyra and had she live until the first day of July, would have been 43 years of age. She was the daughter of Henry and Susan Lewis, Eighteen years ago she was married to Chas. Spencer Houston.
Mrs. Houston had been suffering with cancer for the past year, She has been patient and kind during all that time and her friends deeply mourn her sad death. She is survived by her mother and three brothers, Fred Lewis, Louisville, Ky., Charles Lewis and Edward Lewis of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Addie Coyle of this city.
At the age of 16 years she united with the Baptist Churchand had always lived a Christian life.
