Mr. Ellis Patrick "Pat" Austin, 92, of Monroe, NC passed away Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born in Mecklenburg County on December 5, 1927 to the late Ellis and Eunice Lilly Austin.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lee Dale Braswell Austin. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Rubert Austin and sister, Frances Heafner.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Love Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 7918 Crooked Creek Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.
