1950 – 2020
Sheila Ann Harris entered to eternal rest on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family in Edmond, OK. She was born on August 13, 1950 to Peggy Jean Tyre and James Harrison Armstrong, Jr in Dallas, Texas.
Sheila and Gordon’s hearts were knit together from the time that they first met Aug 16, 1987 when she asked him to dance. They were married December 22, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada at a drive through chapel. They created many years of wonderful memories together while traveling across the country as owner operators with FedEx Custom Critical.
After retiring, she enjoyed living at their lake house in Quinlan, TX. She enjoyed fishing, boating, riding her ATV, cooking, gardening, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. She loved Elvis and listening to her classic 50’s music, and she never missed an opportunity to play a game of Skip-Bo or dominos. Once her health declined, she spent her spare time playing Pogo games on her computer and phone while watching old movies and musicals. On Feb 28, 2019 Sheila and Gordon moved to Edmond to their new home with their son Bryan and his family.
