He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Richie Killingsworth; his wife, Evelyn Holiman Killingsworth; and wife, Nelwyn Ketchum Killingsworth, his parents and his siblings.
Mr Killingsworth was a graduate of Longview High School and was there in 1937 when the Lobo's won the State Championship. He was a veteran of WW II, a Shriner, a member of the Longview Masonic Lodge No. 404 for 65 years, and a member of the Gregg County Historical Museum. He was a long-time member of the Dallas Caddo Hunting and Fishing Club in Uncertain, Texas.
Mr. Killingsworth was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Longview at age 12. He supported and attended Dr. Kenneth McKinley's Bible Study Program for many years.
