ALEXANDER HEARD MAY.
Ruston, Oct. 13 (Special). - Funeral services for Alexander Heard May, 72, who died at the family home yesterday will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist church. Burial will be in Ruston cemetery, directed by McClure funeral home.
He was a native of Louisiana, born at Old Trenton [West Monroe] in June 1873. He had been a resident of Lincoln parish practically his entire life.
Mr. May is survived by his widow; a son, Fred H. May of Shreveport; two daughters, Miss Mabel May of Ruston and Lt. Blanch May USNR, in California; five half brothers, J. W. Colvin, S. B. Colvin, both of Vienna, N. H. Colvin, L. V. Colvin, both of Unionville, and Dr. C. C. Colvin of Bernice; one sister, Mrs. Stella C. Colvin of Ruston and one grandson.
Pallbearers will be Luther, Glenn, Melvin, Clyde, Robert and Emmette Colvin, all nephews of the deceased.
