Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. J. J. O'Connor, will be held at St Joseph's Church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be said by members of the Knights of Columbus Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at Gordon's.
Mr. Anderson, for many years custodian at St Joseph's Church, had suffered from a heart ailment for some time, but he continued to be active in his work. He was a familiar figure about the church which he served, and was loved by the many people who knew him.
Mr. Anderson made his home on Washington Street with a sister-in-law, Mrs. Pat Anderson, and a niece, Miss Clara Anderson, after the death of his sister, Mrs. Pat Curran. He was the last surviving member of his family. The sister and two brothers preceded him in death. Several nieces and nephews survive.
As a boy, Mr. Anderson came to Livingston County and he had since made his home here. He was born in New Jersey." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, April 3, 1941
