"Died--Friday night, Sept 21, 1894, at his residence near Cross Plains, of congestion fever, Will M. Crites, aged 42 years. The funeral took place Saturday at the family burying ground on Gum Log, the services being conducted by F.M. Hudson, Jr.
The deceased leaves a widow and seven children who have the sympathy of the community in their great bereavement."
