Glenda "Fay" Elkins nee Halbert of Freeburg, MO was born on Sunday, October 6, 1957 in Steelville, MO to Horace Nathan Halbert, Sr. and Leona Maude Adams Halbert. She passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2018 at the age of 61 years and 28 days.

Fay married Harley Elkins on April 25, 2005 in Jefferson City, MO and she lived in Rich Fountain for the last 6 years.She worked 20 years as a CNA at the Autumn Meadows Care Center in Linn, MO and 4 years at Westphalia Hills Retirement Center. She enjoyed singing, fishing, camping, cooking and just being outdoors. She was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church, Sullivan, MO. Fay will be missed greatly by her family and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Leona Halbert; brothers Johnny Halbert, Darrell Halbert and Horace Halbert, Jr.; sisters Lucille Arnold and Ada Marie Walls; brothers-in-law Jim Walls, Leonard Fudge and Charles Smith.

Visitation was Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 4-6:00PM and Funeral Service at 6:00PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Rev. Joe Robinson officiating.
