Mrs. Effie Christensen, well known throughout the Pajaro valley, passed away at her home in Corralitos Monday morning. She had been in ill health since last December.
Mrs. Christensen was an active member of the Tri County W.C.T.U. and was president of the Corralitos union. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1936.
She is survived by her husband, Peter P. Christensen, and three daughters, Mrs. Etha Edlund of Richmond; Mrs. Irene Work 6f Corralitos, and Mrs. Lillian Doud of Colorado and a son, Forrest Christensen of Corralitos.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in Watsonville, and burial was in the family plot in the Pajaro Valley Memorial park.
